We should be our number one ambassadors and cheerleaders, with only good things to say to ourselves about ourselves. But alas, we tend to do the opposite. There are little (but loud) voices inside many of us us that limit us from believing that we can achieve something or have us believe that we are somehow lesser than. This one-hour workshop by Nicola O'Donoghue will focus on identifying and addressing those limiting beliefs.
In this workshop you will learn a bit more about why most of us engage in self-sabotage, often subconsciously. You will practice how to identify these limiting beliefs and discuss the impact of these beliefs. In addition, you will be equipped with ways to engage in more positive thinking and use affirmations to diminish or counter our limiting beliefs. Through guided discussions and role plays, you will be able to improve our confidence and self-esteem and get closer to achieving our full potential.
By sharing our lived experience, we realise that we are not alone. Many of us will relate to each other, and in so doing, find connections with each other. This enables us to learn from, and grow with, each other.
By the end of this workshop, you will understand your own limiting beliefs and why they exist. Further, you will feel more confident with new positive ways of ‘self talk’ that counter the self-sabotage. You will also feel connected with a new community who is supportive of your self-improvement journey.
